OUR VALUES

Our Platform

We provide this platform at a fantastic price as we’re passionate about supporting our local community and charitable entities that promote sustainability and environmental responsibility.

We offer shop setup for a single one-off fee, with a small renewal fee each year, with shop owners having full access to create and manage their content. For any additional development work, we offer non-profits an affordable £20 hourly rate; however, additional fees may apply for commercial entities.

Shop owners are free to use their preferred payment methods, and we don’t take any cut of your sales, allowing you to maximise your fundraising efforts.

Who we are

Hi, my name is Dianne. I’m a mum and freelance web designer from Warwick with a passion for green projects.

I started ReWear Community Project (zero-waste.org.uk) after joining the PTA at our school. We were looking for an affordable way to offer a quality online shopping experience for our second-hand uniform shop and encourage more people to reuse school uniforms. That’s how ReWear Community Project was born.

Having this platform has increased our sales and significantly reduced the amount of uniform we are sending to landfill. We have also maximised our fundraising efforts by not paying platform fees to a third-party provider and having full control over our shop.

We offer affordable prices and no hidden fees. We help you get online, so you can help reduce waste in your community.

All your profits go to you, as we don’t charge any platform fees.

We believe that by offering an affordable way for school communities to set up online second-hand uniform shops, we can help reduce our community’s environmental impact while also creating a valuable fundraising opportunity for PTAs.
